About Me

Hello, my name is Rachel, and I am a proud mother to two beautiful daughters. This is where my story begins.

Back in November 2022, I made the incredibly difficult decision to end my nine-year marriage. It took immense courage, knowing that I would be turning my family’s life upside down. But I could no longer ignore the reality, I had lost touch with who I truly was. My marriage had been challenging from the start, filled with dishonesty, addictions, zero communication and limitations that were unhealthy for my husband, my children, and most importantly, for me.

I’ll admit, the timing was far from ideal. My oldest daughter was about to take her GCSEs, and my youngest had just been diagnosed with dyslexia. Both of my girls needed all of my love and attention. Despite these challenges, I found a strength within myself that I didn’t know existed. With determination, I made the decision to move forward and filed for divorce in January 2023.

There were many difficult and dark days along the way, moments when I thought about turning back and wondering if things might improve. But deep down, I knew the truth: I couldn’t keep living a life that wasn’t true to myself. I am so deeply grateful for the unwavering love and support of my mother and my amazing friends. Without them, I would never have made it through those tough moments.

By October 2023, my divorce was finalised, and I felt free—truly free for the first time in years. And that, my friends, is when my real life really began.

In addition to coaching, I also became a Reiki Practitioner, inspired by my own experiences with healing energy. Reiki had been a powerful part of my journey, helping me release old energy, heal emotional wounds, and restore balance in my life. It became clear to me that this was another gift I could offer to others who were struggling. As a Reiki Practitioner, I help people release stress, emotional blockages, and trauma, allowing them to tap into their own inner healing power.

In January 2025, I launched Rachel Parker, The Coach, a milestone I once thought was beyond my reach. It’s a testament to the strength and resilience that we all carry within us, even when we doubt ourselves. This journey has shown me that no matter where we start or how many challenges we face, it’s never too late to transform our lives. My hope is that by sharing my story and offering guidance, I can inspire others to embrace their own transformations, find their true purpose, and live a life of fulfilment and joy, no matter where they are in their journey.

The Meaning Behind the Dandelion - The Story Behind My Logo

The dandelion is a beautiful and powerful symbol and incorporating it into your logo can speak volumes about your coaching practice.

The dandelion in my logo is more than just a visual element; it represents the heart of what I do as Rachel Parker, The Coach. The dandelion is a symbol of transformation, resilience, and new beginnings, qualities that are at the core of the work I do with my clients.

  • Resilience: Like the dandelion, which thrives in the most unexpected places and bounces back even after being blown away, my coaching reflects the power of resilience during life’s challenges. Whether it’s navigating a difficult breakup, divorce, or any major life transition, the dandelion reminds us that we have the strength to grow and flourish, even in the face of adversity.
  • New Beginnings: The dandelion’s seeds scatter far and wide, symbolising fresh starts and endless possibilities. Just as a single dandelion seed can grow into something new, my mission is to help my clients embrace new beginnings. Life’s transitions, while often daunting, are opportunities to redefine yourself, rediscover your passions, and create a new chapter of purpose and fulfilment.
  • Healing and Growth: The dandelion is also a symbol of healing, as it is often associated with nature’s ability to restore balance and energy. For me, this aligns with my holistic approach to coaching, which includes guiding my clients through emotional healing, building inner strength, and nurturing self-love.
  • Letting Go and Releasing: The act of blowing dandelion seeds into the wind is a beautiful metaphor for letting go of what no longer serves us—whether that’s old beliefs, emotional baggage, or past hurts. This resonates deeply with my work in helping individuals let go of the weight of divorce or a breakup and step into a new, lighter, and more confident version of themselves.

As part of my commitment to supporting those going through some of life’s most painful transitions, I volunteer my time at a local women’s refuge centre. Here, I offer emotional support and coaching to women who have made the incredibly brave decision to walk away from abusive or controlling relationships.

This work is deeply personal and important to me. Many of the women I support have left everything behind in search of safety and peace. I help them begin to rebuild their confidence, process their trauma, and take small, empowered steps towards a new chapter.

My role is not to advise or judge, but to listen, to hold space, and to offer gentle guidance when it’s needed most.

This experience continually shapes my approach as a coach. It reminds me that healing takes time, safety is essential, and that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and supported.
